Wooden Marble Run for Cuboro

Developed in a collaboration between Hochschule Luzern Object Design and Cuboro, this project explores sound as a new layer of play in the classic Swiss marble run. I designed elements with stepped slides and inner staircases so the marble’s path can be heard as well as seen. All pieces stay within Cuboro’s 50 × 50 × 50 mm module. I prototyped them on the CNC router in the HSLU workshops, and they were shown publicly for the first time at DesignSchenken Lucerne in 2025.
